Hi, my name is Sati Heer-Stavert. I’m a clinician working in the UK with an interest in philosophy and its relevance to healthcare.
This site includes a few of the tutorials I run with my students and some of the issues I might discuss with my colleagues. They aren’t traditionally found in medical school curricula or many postgraduate medical courses.
Unexamined Medicine provides me an opportunity to experiment with ideas and reflect. I hope that other doctors might find the site useful in their own learning or planning tutorials for trainees. I’ll aim to upload something every month or so.
All my opinions on this site are not affiliated to my current or previous places of work.
